The YMCA Swim Team is a competitive program that focuses on the development of swimming skills for all ages and abilities. Come join us and have fun while improving your skills, endurance, and racing techniques. The YMCA of the Chesapeake offers a four youth swim team programs within the 10 communities we serve. The Henson Family YMCA in Salisbury also offers a competitive Masters Swim Team for swimmers ages 18+.

The four locations for youth swim team are:

  • Cecil County Family YMCA - Elkton, Maryland

  • Easton Family YMCA - Easton, Maryland

  • Robbins Family YMCA - Cambridge, Maryland

  • Henson Family YMCA - Salisbury, Maryland

 

General Prerequisites:

  • Ages 5-18

  • Ability to swim 25 yards without stopping

  • Swimmers must be YMCA members to participate

Our trained coaches work to improve swimmers' skill level, endurance and to promote a healthy lifestyle. Our program embraces the YMCA core values and promotes progression at an individual level.
