Cecil Driving School

Driver Education is available to any individual who is at least 15 years of age by the first night of class. Maryland law requires each student to complete a prescribed program which consists of 30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training. A complete classroom schedule will be given to each student the first night of class. "Behind-the-Wheel" training is scheduled with an instructor following the classroom portion. Sessions: $440; This includes a $40 non-refundable deposit made payable to the YMCA upon registration with the balance of $400 to be paid on the first night of instruction. Cash, check, or money orders are accepted and made payable to Cecil Driving School.

Driver Improvement Program
Held on numerous Saturdays each month. Please arrive early for registration and bring Assignment Letter.

Day & Time: Saturdays, 8-11:30AM

Fee: $70 (this cost includes a registration fee of $10 made payable to the Cecil County Family YMCA and remaining $60 made payable to Cecil Driving School.)

Young Driver Improvement Program
Drivers who have been assigned to the program may call Bob Cornell at 443-907-2035 to schedule class. The assignment letter reads "Young Driver Improvement Program" and is printed on the yellow stationary. Please bring Assignment Letter with you to the first class.

Fee: $175 (this cost includes a non-refundable registration fee of $25 made payable to the Cecil County Family YMCA and remaining $150 is made payable to the Cecil Driving School.
