Branch Amenities

The Perkins Family YMCA is located behind St. Michaels Middle High School off of Seymour Avenue in St. Michaels, MD. In addition to the facility amenities listed below, our facility also houses a full service Senior Center, for anyone in the community age 60 and over, which is operated through Upper Shore Aging. Center provides congregate meals, arts enrichment, educational seminars, and access to services. Membership to the YMCA is NOT required to participate in the Bay Hundred Senior Center programs and activities.

  • State-of-the-art Wellness Center with Life Fitness, Cybex, Hammer Strength, Sci Fit, Concept II and Octane Fitness equipment
  • Gymnasium with indoor walking track around perimeter
  • Men’s and Women’s locker rooms
  • Two family changing rooms with lockers
  • Co-Ed sauna (available during pool hours)
  • Public restrooms located at the rear of facility available for use with outdoor recreational programs and sporting events.

  • Stay & Play Hours: Monday-Thursday 8-11:30am; 3-6:30pm; Saturday 8-11:30am; Sunday 11am-2:30pm

Bay Hundred Senior Center

The Bay Hundred Senior Center, located in the Perkins Family YMCA in St. Michaels, offers active seniors age 60 or more opportunities for socializing, exercising, recreation, and lifelong learning. Open Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 8am-3pm. The Center serves lunch at 12 noon for a suggested donation of $2.75 for seniors and $5.50 for all others.

Members' spouses who are under the age of 60 are also eligible. Membership is free to eligible individuals who register. The Center is not an adult daycare center or a nursing home. Bay Hundred members may also decide to join the YMCA to access all of its programs and equipment. All branches of the YMCA of the Chesapeake will be closed all day on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.
